Asst. Prof. Dr. Özge Çelik Güler

Born in Mersin, Özge Çelik Güler graduated with honors from Tarsus Abdulkerim Bengi Anatolian High School in 2005 and completed her degree in Dentistry at Ankara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. She passed the Dental Specialization Examination (DUS) in 2012 and began her specialization in Orthodontics at İnönü University. She completed her specialization in 2016 with the thesis titled “Micro-CT Examination of Changes in Premolar Root Surface After Tipping with Mini Screws at Different Durations.” During her specialization, she attended numerous national and international congresses and symposiums, presenting both oral and written academic studies. Between 2017-2018, she worked as a specialist dentist at Malatya Oral and Dental Health Center. In 2018, she began working as a Lecturer in the Department of Orthodontics at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Dentistry. During this time, she served as the Chair of the Department of Orthodontics and contributed to academic studies published in national and international indexed journals. As a faculty member, she also worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham Faculty of Dentistry in the UK and was involved in the project team.

She is one of the founding partners of the private İdadent Oral and Dental Health Clinic in Çanakkale, where she has been accepting patients since 2022 and continuing her academic work. She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association (TDB), the Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD), the European Orthodontic Society (EOS), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).

Her areas of interest include adult orthodontics, orthognathic surgery planning, self-ligating brackets, orthodontic approaches to periodontal problems, orthodontic preparation before prosthetic treatment, and smile design. She holds the Invisalign Platinum Provider certification and actively applies transparent aligner treatment (wireless orthodontics) in her clinic.

Her hobbies outside of work include traveling domestically and internationally, yoga, pilates, mindfulness practices, trekking, photography, and reading books.
